In Lebanon's village of Arnaoon residents have broken a world record for the longest wedding veil. Measuring 3,357 meters long the veil breaks the previous record which was held by a German bride.
Though Guinness Book of World Records officials were not present at the ceremony after the ceremony was over the veil's length was recorded. The bride Sandra Meshleb says she was extremely happy to be wearing a record-breaking veil.
To get to the wedding site she and her bridesmaids drove in a bus across the village with the veil spread out behind them on the street. Record-breaking wedding attire is not unusual fare for the Guinness Book of World Records.
